HERBERT DIRECT WARRANTY

    Herbert Direct Ltd distribute quality products which are manufactured to the highest industrial standards and workmanship and are extensively tested.
    If it transpires there are manufacturing defects or functional flaws within the product(s), as a gesture of goodwill, for so long as the original purchaser is in possession of the furniture within/on which the product has been fitted, and it has been used only in domestic circumstances, we will replace defective products by sending replacement parts free of charge to the address of the purchaser.

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, all other claims are excluded, including any related labour costs regarding removal of the defective product and/or installation of the replacement part. Improper use as well as improper operation or excessive loads are also excluded.

    This is merely a gesture of goodwill and only valid for products purchased from Herbert Direct Ltd within the United Kingdom.
    Situations that will invalidate this warranty on all items purchased from Herbert Direct Ltd are:
    • Damage due to chemical or electrochemical influences, environmental impact or improper use
    • Wear-and-tear parts
    • Defects to the product that were caused during installation or transport
    • Insignificant deviations that do not influence the utility value of the product
    • Sample, exhibition or demonstration products
    • Damage caused by the faulty product.
    • Damage that can be traced back to normal wear or deliberate damage
    • Faulty installation, commissioning, or maintenance
    • Utilisation that is not in line with the purpose
    • Damage caused by force majeure or natural disasters, in particular floods or fires
    • Damage caused by third parties, in particular, salesmen and fitters
    • Installation, maintenance, repair, and care provided by unqualified persons
    • Non-compliance with fitting, operating and care instructions
    • Installation of non-original replacement parts
    To support any claim on this warranty the purchaser should provide the Herbert Direct invoice number as proof of purchase as well as explaining the nature of the possible defect and providing photographic images of the product(s).
    Should it be required, you will be responsible for returning the defective product to Herbert Direct Ltd, Unit 18 Lawson Hunt Industrial Park, Broadbridge Heath, Horsham RH12 3JR to allow inspection and to assess if the defect is covered under this warranty.
    Herbert Direct offer this goodwill Warranty for a period of 5 years from purchase date provided that the product is still available from the manufacturer or that spare parts are still available for the product. Herbert Direct will not be liable for replacement of discontinued product or spare parts. The purchaser will not be entitled to any compensation related to any of the above or in the event of an item being unavailable.
